'Planet of the Apes' on Television

'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' won this past weekend's box office. It's crazy that the original 'Planet of the Apes,' which came out in 1968, is still spawning movies. Did you know that back in the 1970s there were two television series that were inspired by the movie? The live-action television show, 'Planet of the Apes,' lasted only one season in 1974.
