Golden Globe Snubs

The Golden Globe Awards will air tomorrow night. I love that Ralph Fiennes got a nomination for 'The Grand Budapest Hotel,' a movie that came out last March. Many movies that compete for prizes are usually released in the fall or winter months, close to awards season. That being said, plenty of people were overlooked for their performances in 2014. Check out some snubs below:

If you need a new show to watch, you can currently stream 'Peaky Blinders' on Netflix. It's too bad that actress Helen McCrory did not get recognized for her part as Aunt Polly on the drama series.

It always surprises me that year after year cast members from 'Saturday Night Live' don't get any love from the Golden Globes. I think that Taran Gillam should have been recognized for his work on the sketch comedy show. He is one of the most talented members on the program.

Actor Christopher Evan Welch passed away during the first season of 'Silicon Valley.' He was such an integral part of the show, that it's going to be interesting to see how season two will explain his character's disappearance. It would have been cool if he had received a posthumous Golden Globe nomination for his great work as billionaire Peter Gregory.
