'The Martian' hits theaters on Friday. To help promote the movie and its own brand, Microsoft has a pretty cool contest going on. The challenge is to come up with a solution to one of three problems that Mark Watney faces:
1) help him stay alive  
2)help him pass the time
3)help him get home

The grand prize is $25,000 and a trip to Microsoft headquarters in Washington. More details about the design challenge can be found here.
